North Georgia Photographers: Baby Ava
Say hello to Ava.
I would like introduce to you, Baby Ava. This sweet girl came to visit my photography studio for her newborn portraits. She was just a week old when I photographed her. Ava’s parents requested neutral/vintage colors for their daughter’s newborn session. Cream, ivory, tans and earth tone's are some of my favorites to use with babies for many reasons. For example, these colors create such a creamy feel and really allow baby to be the spotlight of each image.
In addition, we incorporated natural fibers and textures into Ava’s photo session. I think my favorite is the first image in the series. I love how the vintage quilt and knit bonnet tie together resulting in a very feminine image. Ultimately, my goal is to keep a consistent theme throughout each session, so I incorporated natural fibers (wood, wood props, burlap, similar colors, etc.) into every image.
Having a consistent theme is important when designing an album, birth announcement or wall display for a client. Doing so, ensures everything will flow together nicely. In the end, the goal after every session is have your images printed. Check out some of our set-up's for Baby Ava's session below. For more info on a newborn session be sure to contact us today!!!
